National Conference with International Participation "Natural Sciences in the Dialogue of Generations - 2025"

Dear academic community,

We are honored to invite you to the 8th edition of the National Conference with International Participation "Natural Sciences in the Dialogue of Generations - 2025", which will take place from September 17 to 19, 2025, in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova. 

The event is organized by the Doctoral School of Natural Sciences, the Center for Functional Genetics,and the Institute of Genetics, Physiology, and Plant Protection, with the support of the Faculty of Biology and Geosciences, the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics, the Faculty of Physics and Engineering, the Institute of Physiology and Sanocreatology, the Institute of Zoology, the Institute of Botany, the Institute of Ecology and Geography, the Institute of Chemistry, the Institute of Applied Physics, and the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics at the State University of Moldova, under the aegis of the Scientific Association of Geneticists and Breeders of the Republic of Moldova.

 Conference sections:

A. Biodiversity, climate change and biosecurity

(The impact of climate change on ecosystems, biodiversity protection, species adaptation and measures for conservation and biosecurity)

B.  Green chemistry and sustainable technologies

(Innovative approaches in environmental chemistry, nanomaterials, green technologies and ecological chemical processes for sustainable development)

C. Genomics and advanced biotechnologies in agriculture, industry and economy

(Exploring the applications of functional genetics, modern biotechnologies and genome editing in plant breeding, bioproduction, etc.)

D. Applied physics and emerging technologies 

(Advanced research in optics, nanophysics, innovative materials and technological applications for renewable energy and smart devices)

E.  Mathematical modeling, information technologies, artificial intelligence and big data in natural sciences

(The use of computational methods, AI algorithms and big data analyses in biology, ecology, physics and chemistry)

F.  Human health and translational medicine

(Perspectives in physiology and sanocreatology, the interaction between basic research and medical applications, including biomarkers, the development of new drugs based on genetic studies, etc.)

 The deadline for registration and submission of abstracts is May 15, 2025.

 
Abstract preparation requirements

Abstracts, written in English (no more than one A5 page), must include the purpose, methods, results and conclusions of the paper. Below the abstract, 3-8 keywords are mentioned and, if applicable, the source of research funding (project name, subprogram, etc.). Bibliographic references will not be included in the abstract.

Title: Times New Roman, 10, Bold, centered, capital letters, up to 80 characters, including spaces.

Authors' names and surnames: TNR, 9, Bold, centered, the presenter's name is underlined.

Author details: (Affiliations/institution, ORCID and corresponding author e-mail): TNR, 9, Italic, centered.

Text: TNR, 9, single-line spacing.

Keywords: TNR, 8.

Margins: 2 cm - top / bottom and 2 cm - left / right.

File name: Include the last name of the first author, the letter indicating the section chosen, and the type of presentation (e.g. Popescu_A_ORAL; Popescu_A_POSTER).
