The National Conference with International Participation “Advanced Materials in Biopharmaceutics and Engineering”, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the birth of the distinguished chemist, Academician Aurelian Gulea, and to the 80th anniversary of the foundation of Moldova State University, is organized by the Institute of Chemistry and Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of USM in partnership with the Academy of Sciences of Moldova.

The aim of the Conference is to actively promote in society the scientific results obtained in the fields of chemistry, biopharmaceutics and technics, as well as to pay tribute to Academician Aurelian Gulea.

Main topics include:

  • Advanced materials with biopharmaceutical applications
  • Synthesis and characterization of functional materials
  • Complex compounds with polyfunctional ligands
  • Applications of new materials in medicine, biology, and technics
  • Modern aspects of coordination and supramolecular chemistry


The Conference is addressed to a wide range of researchers, PhD students, Master’s and Bachelor’s students from various fields related to the event topics, as well as to specialists working in the research and development sector of enterprises / organizations in the field of biopharmaceutics and technics.

The Conference will be held in a hybrid format.

The working languages are Romanian and English.
