Internships

Between July 17 and  31, 2025, the Institute of Chemistry of MSU hosted a short-term internship conducted by Nicoleta JOSAN, a student at Durham School in the United Kingdom, within the laboratory Chemistry of Natural and Biologically Active Compounds (CCNBA).
During the internship, the student was actively involved in practical activities and became familiar with modern laboratory techniques, such as thin-layer chromatography (TLC) and column chromatography, used for the separation and purification of organic compounds. She made a valuable contribution to the chromatographic separation of pentacyclic terpenic acids—a complex task requiring precision, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of the polarity of substances.

During the period June-August 2021, student SUFLIC Daria, student of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Environmental Protection "Cristofor Simionescu" of the Gheorghe Asachi Technic University of Iasi, Romania  spends an undergraduate internship at the Institute of Chemistry, Centre of Ecological Chemistry and Environmental Protection, Laboratory of Ecological Chemistry on the topic: ”Technologies for obtaining and regenerating activated carbon from local raw materials”.
Supervisors: academician Tudor LUPASCU and dr. PETUHOV Oleg

Based on a collaboration agreement between the Institute of Chemistry and the University of Strasbourg, France,
Mr. MARINA Alex-Gabriel - student of the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Strasbourg, did an undergraduate internship at the Institute of Chemistry, Centre of Applied Organic Chemistry, laboratory of Chemistry of Natural and Biologically Active Compounds.
