  • Obţinerea cărbunilor activi din materii prime vegetale; obţinerea catalizatorilor pe suport de cărbune activ cu proprietăţi selective de oxidare a poluanţilor.
  • Studierea parametrilor de structură şi a capacităţii de adsorbţie a adsorbanţilor carbonici; cercetarea chimiei suprafeţei adsorbanţilor carbonici; evaluarea proprietăților redox ale adsorbanţilor carbonici. 
  • Adsorbţia substanţelor toxice pe cărbuni activi; îmbunătățirea procedeelor de tratare a apei; testarea tehnologiilor de tratare a apei în condiții de câmp.
